Future |
|
|
Sucessful discoveries are the result
of an overall approach:
Understanding of market requirements
on the one hand, a high degree of
scientific knowledge an
manufacturing know-how on the other.
As partners of primary suppliers and
plant operators we have been
developing innovative components for
over 50 years. elke TECHNIK with its
employees aerces the customer with
great dedication - always one step
ahead in progress. |
|
You
will find elke TECHNIK products in
niches wherever safety and comfort
for people and machines are required.
Often our solutions which are
developed and produced at the
customer's request and according to
his requirements. And it is often
the smallest detail which decides on
the success of the matter. The more
complex and complicated the therme,
the more open and broad-minded the
discourse must be in order to
convert the customer's wishes into a
perfect solution. We therefore lay
great emphasions on the detail "communication"
when dealing with the customer. It
is an essential component of the
elke corporate philosophy. |

Company History :
|
1948 |
Engineer Fritz
Kerner founds elke TECHNIK in Ellwangen
Production of sheetmetal stamped parts
and articulated joint elements as well
as an array of electronic devices.
|
|
1950/1960 |
Development of the specific know-how
needed for the vulcanisation process and
production of elastomers.
First-time production of special
implements used in the vulcanisation
process Production of elastomer and
synthetic mechanical components for
firms such as Bosch and Varta. |
|
1960/1970 |
Inception
of the Connector line of products, an
array of electrical plug Connectors for
heavy-duty usage, based on process
engineering developed by elke TECHNIK. |
|
1970/1980 |
Due to very high output figures in tool
production and injection moulding
production the firm aquires a great
number of new clients requiring
synthetic mechanical components.
Extension of the branches of both
thermoplastic and duromer production.
Clients are now in a position to be able
to obtain very specific implements and
synthetic mechanical components from a
single source. BARTEC, requiring
high-precision synthetic components
joins the customer list.
|
|
1980/1990 |
The broad economic crisis and
restructuring with many of the key
clients entails a radical reorientation
for elke TECHNIK.
The production site depends on BARTEC’s
purchase orders for its economic
survival.
In 1982, Reinhold Barlian, having
recently joined the ranks of associates,
develops a continuation concept, saving
a substantial number of jobs in the
process.
|
|
1990/2000 |
In addition to the already existing
Connector line of products a new product
line, consisting of silicone based
electric heating components is added to
the product range.
Products withstanding an enormous amount
of strain become the central concern,
since clients are manufacturers of
railroad engines, tram lines,
underground train cars, airplanes, SUVs,
and military vehicles.
|
|
2000/present |
Marianne Barlian, one of the partners,
takes an active interest in the new and
improved elke TECHNIK and under her
guidance personnel management,
certification and reliability become the
